Are you very involved in managing your family members life and worry about what will happen when you are no longer able to support them?

The future planning peer network is a place where you can share your concerns with others in a similar position and gain information and ideas to plan for the future. 

Facilitated by Meg Sweeney, we will hold four monthly sessions addressing different topics.

All sessions will be held online via Zoom, Thursdays 12pm - 1pm (Sydney, NSW time) on the following dates - you are encouraged to attend all sessions but it's okay to come when you can.

Network facilitator –

Meg Sweeney is a parent of three adult children and lives in Jervis Bay, the land of the Jerrinja people. She plays an active role in her eldest daughter’s life, focusing on her health, happiness, and fulfillment within the community. While Meg remains hopeful about living a long life, she has begun planning for her daughter’s future for a time when she is no longer around.

What’s a Peer Network?

A Peer is someone with similar experience to you. A Peer Network is a connected group of peers.
A peer network is not a seminar. It’s a group that works when everyone contributes.
The facilitator is there to help the group stay on track, not to provide all the answers.

More details about this Peer Network:

• Peer Networks are free to attend.
• We encourage you to come to all of the sessions to get the most benefit, but it's ok to come when you can.
• Once you are registered, you'll receive an email reminder and Zoom link before each session.
• The only way to take part is via live attendance. Peer group discussions are not recorded.
• We ask everyone to abide by the Code of Conduct and Rules of Engagement.
