The NDIS exists to support people with disability, taking the place they deserve in the community, alongside everyone else. This Peer Network will help you maximise the possibilities for that to happen while building the capacity and skills for independence and social and economic participation.

The NDIS for Inclusion Peer Network is for people with disability and family members who want to use an NDIS plan to enable a person with disability to live their best life in the community.

It’s a group where you can:

  • Journey together towards a life lived in the midst of community for the person with disability in your family
  • Share questions, ideas and experiences

What’s a Peer Network?

A Peer is someone with similar experience to you. A Peer Network is a connected group of peers.

A peer network is not a seminar. It’s a group that works when everyone contributes.

The facilitator is there to help the group stay on track, not to provide all the answers.
